Our approach to your reservation
We would like to offer you as much clarity on your reservation in terms of charges, what you get for what you pay, cancellation related issues, charges for children, check-in and check-out timings, what’s included and what’s not, what attracts extra charges. We believe that you should have full clarity on what you are paying for. In addition if you still have questions please feel free to contact us at email@example.com.

What does the day charge or tariff for each room per night include?
The basic day charge or tariff for a room at Fishermen’s Lodge includes Half Board (HB).
What does Half Board mean?
This means that breakfast 8am to 11am, evening tea with light snacks 4pm to 6pm and dinner 8pm to 11pm are already included in the room charges.
What will be charged over and above?
If you would like to lunch (1pm to 3pm) at the lodge it will attract an additional charge of Rs.500/- per person. A limited lunch menu is available at the front desk; you are requested to register for it by 11am. We will try and accommodate personal requests as much as possible
Is there room service?
There is no room service; however, complimentary in room hospitality includes cookies, tea and coffee and two bottles of mineral water.
Charges for Children Accompanying Parents:
Two children under the age of six years are welcome to stay with their parents with no extra room or food charge.
Children between the ages of 6 and 12 years accompanying parents and sharing the room with them, will be charged Rs.1000/- per child per night.
What are the packages available?
Special packages are available for more than ten room reservations. Please call or email us with your requirements.
Additional guests for meals
You are welcome to invite additional non resident guests to enjoy our delicious home cooked meals for an additional charge of Rs. 300/- for breakfast, Rs.200/- for tea and Rs.500/- for lunch or dinner. We would, however, appreciate it very much if you can check with us in advance at the front desk.
Confirming a Reservation
Reservation can be confirmed by making a 50% advance payment.
This payment is refundable if the booking is cancelled 15 days in advance after a deduction of 5% processing charge.
Once the 50% advance payment is made the booking is considered confirmed.

Bookings without an advance are considered enquiries and do not ensure a reservation, please confirm your reservation by making an advance payment as stated above.
Cancellation of Reservations at Fishermen’s Lodge.
Due to our size, cancellations affect us significantly. We do, therefore need to adhere to our cancellation policy rather strictly. The important points to note are as follows:
Our cancellation policy is activated only once you have confirmed your booking and we have acknowledged the confirmation via email.
To call in cancellations please do so at our numbers between 9am and 7pm and please note the name of the person spoken to. It would be better to email us the cancellation at email@example.com.
Cancellation charges on confirmed bookings
All confirmed bookings carry a minimum deduction of 5% processing fee upon cancellation
up to 15 days prior to the check-in date
A charge of quarter (25%) a room night per room booked will be charged for cancellations
made between fourteen (14) to six (6) days of the check-in date. A charge of half (50%) a room night per room booked will be charged for cancellations made within five (5) days of the check-in date
A charge of one room night for every room booked will be charged for no shows Cancellation charges are applicable only on confirmed bookings.
Last minute reservations
Last minute reservations will be accepted only on telephone. As a policy we do not accept walk in customers
Check-in and Check-out timing and flexibility
Our regular check-in time 11am and check-out is 10am.
Depending on how full up we are we would be more than happy to make the check-in and check-out timing flexible to meet the requirement of your travel timing In case of a full house situation we welcome you to enjoy our hospitality before your 11am check-in and the use of the living room, lounge and deck after your check-out at 10am We can discuss additional half day bookings on an individual basis.
We only provide washing and ironing facilities. The charges for any one garment of any size, without discrimination between gender and age, will be Rs.30/-. Boarding and lodging for drivers and maids We have boarding arrangements with a facility close by for drivers.
The specific requirements of baby/toddler maid and baby sitting arrangements can be discussed with us separately.
With due apologies to all the animal lovers and our young guests, we do not allow pets.
As per guest convenience rooms will be cleaned between 9am and 1 pm.
We have accessorized the room to provide you an aesthetic atmosphere. If you would like to carry back any of the items do let us know. We will try and arrange the same for you at an extra charge. A list of items and their prices are available in your room folder.
Wi-Fi facility is available free of charge. Of course this is when the service is available as it can be erratic in the mountains. The office computer station can be made available on request for short durations.
